As the Leaves Turn, Autumn 2026 — a seasonal celebration of music, dance, visual arts, film, performances and creative workshops at County Hall.

Four Seasons Festival

The Four Seasons Festival is a seasonal multidisciplinary cultural programme at County Hall, bringing together music, visual art, film, dance, workshops, performance, storytelling and participatory experiences.

More than a programme of individual events, each edition is developed around a central theme or idea – creating opportunities for audiences to enjoy the arts in unexpected combinations and to take part rather than simply observe.

County Hall is an integral part of the festival. Its architecture, history and spaces shape each season, from performances and screenings to creative workshops and collaborative installations. By bringing cultural experiences into different parts of the building and its surroundings, the festival invites people to encounter County Hall in new ways.

As the Leaves Turn, Autumn 2026

The latest edition of the festival is As the Leaves Turn, celebrating autumn as a season of change and transformation.

Following the energy and optimism of Under the Same Sun, this autumn edition explores the next stage of the journey: recognising what has flourished, celebrating what has been achieved, and embracing the changes that prepare us for a new beginning. Growth is not only about moving forward. Nature teaches us that every season has its purpose, and that change often begins with the courage to let go.

Seeds of Change, Spring 2026

The inaugural Four Seasons Festival was Seeds of Change, a celebration of beginnings, growth and possibility.

The programme included classical music concerts, a sitar and tabla performance with Afternoon Chai, guided tours of County Hall and its surroundings, storytelling with children's author Vivian French, clay workshops, performances by emerging young musicians and a curated short-film screening.

At the heart of the season was the idea of the seed: something small with the potential to grow and make an impact.

Under the Same Sun, Summer 2026

The second edition, Under the Same Sun, continued the festival's exploration of growth with a particular focus on collaboration.

Creating opportunities for different artistic practices to intersect, the festival featured live music and dance, improvisational concerts, craft activities for children and collaborative artworks. The season became a celebration of collective creativity, exploring what can emerge when artists, audiences and different art forms come together.

The Four Seasons Festival is led by County Hall Arts' Music Director Emma Arizza and Resident Artist Yasemin Gava.
